A look ahead
Before we get to the upcoming game of the week, let's recognize Eric Gagne, he blew his third save of the year Sunday after allowing 3 runs on 2 hits (both homeruns) en route to recording his first loss of the year against the Cincinnati Reds. The Brewers' leash on this guy is probably fairly long, considering the money they're giving him, but this pace certainly ensures somebody else will be recording saves before long in Milwaukee.
OK, bad outings aside, lets move on. This weeks Bad Baseball game of the week is...
Monday night, Marlins at Pittsburgh. The Fish send Ricky Nolasco (1-1, 6.46 ERA) to the mound against Paul Maholm (0-2, 5.28 ERA). Should be lots of offense in this beauty... gotcha! Neither of these teams have an offense!! This one will be straight up ugly. Enjoy.
